Due to a commentator's suggestion, I'm working on a summary for "Treasured Blood." It appears many still think that stories depicting friendships between men are borderline Gay-themed. I appreciate the suggestions, but this is the reason I am pushing forward with my vision for "Why Bromance?" So many have geared their thoughts to that particular frame of mind regarding male friendships. It truly boggles my mind. I've lived with a love and passion for male friendship stories all my life and, though I have dabbled in Gay Romance in my writing, I've chosen to stick with my strength. Brother-friendships. I hope this meme will help clarify my goal with writing such stories. It's fine if you wish to visualize the main male characters as lovers, I have no problem with that, but as the meme suggests, I do not plan on making them so in the story. I spoke to a friend about this problem and she just shook her head and smiled. "It's love. Straight, Gay? Why does it have to be labeled in any fashion?" I agree. I hope, once the summary is proofed and uploaded onto the website, more people will get the idea as to "Treasured Blood's" take on such a theme. As stated above, to write a summary is a good suggestion, and I appreciate it, but the reason behind it left me a bit despondent. Will many people jump to that conclusion? Feel free to comment and give me your input. It appears my obvious tunnel-vision may be a detriment. Thank you.
